Molly wasn't so sure about feeding the goats.

Suzie's visit

I have one hundred and one things to do today, but...

Stephenie Meyer was working on another book called Midnight Sun. It was Edward's version of Twilight. I have to admit I was pretty excited about it. Has anyone read the books and not fallen in love with Edward? Well someone leaked what she had written and she decided not to finish it :( But she did put what she had finished on her web site. I realize that I'm probably a little behind and most people probably already know. If you didn't know, you should check it out. It's about 260 something pages. It's fun seeing Edwards perspective and everyone else for that matter. I'm excited that the movie will be coming out in November. I hope it's good and they decide to make the rest of them.

Busted!
Drum roll please.... Gabe is sleeping through the night! (knock on wood) It is so nice. Sunday night he went 10 hours then 8 and last night it was 81/2. It's amazing how much better I feel when I get uninterrupted sleep. He's rolling and scooting all over the place. He'll be crawling after Molly in no time. He is the sweetest boy. He's always laughing. He has a very ticklish tummy and neck.
Here are some park pictures.
She's getting more daring at the park. She'll do the slide alone.
More Molly stories...
Whenever Molly has something that I don't want her to have I take it and say thank you. I've noticed when Gabe has something Molly wants, she'll take it and say dank dou. She even says it in the same tone I use.
She loves tp and Kleenex. What little kid doesn't? Whenever she gets into one of them and I find her she immediately starts to blow her nose with what's in her hand. Like it justifies the 20 Kleenex on the floor.
She also likes to get into my makeup if I leave it out. She likes the mirrors and brushes. Needless to say most of my eye shadows, blush, and chap stick have little fingernail marks in them. When I catch her, she'll wrinkle her nose and start sniffing it. She's a card.
Molly is on the path to being a complete girly girl, she loves nail polish. A couple weeks ago she found a bottle and opened it. It didn't surprise me, she's been unscrewing things since she was one. I just wish I knew where she got it from. Thank goodness I noticed before we got a nice shade of pink all over the carpet. So I took it from her. She was upset, until she found a pen cap. Ever since she has been using pen caps to paint her toes, mine and Gabe's. She does however get frustrated with Gabe, he never holds still for her.

Call me curly
Molly is one and a half! She's gone to nursery twice by herself, but now it's legal. We're pretty excited. She's getting so big. It feels like yesterday that we were going to the hospital to have her. She got her 12 tooth a couple days ago. Now she has the front four on the top and bottom and four molars. Molly has always been a great eater, maybe she'll be even faster. She has stopped calling Dad, Drew. We were joking that it's because he hasn't been home much the past week. We think that she might have picked up a few other words too. But we aren't sure. I think that she's now saying Daddy, Dog and maybe bubble. She babbles a ton. I'm sure that once she starts talking, it's never going to stop.
We played in the rain. This is how Molly has been dancing recently. She stomps on the ground and throws in the occasional spin.
In this one it sounds like she might be saying bubble. Probably gibberish, but maybe not?...

That's my boy
Gabe had a check up yesterday with his new doctor. He got his four month shots :( It was very sad. I hate feeling helpless as someone stabs him. I think the worst part is when all of this is happening and he looks at me holding his arms down. It just breaks my heart. But I know that it's all for the best. Today he's had a low grade fever and has been very clingy and sleepy. Not his usual self at all... Hopefully tomorrows a better day.

DREW! I mean dad...
Gabe is such a happy baby. He loves being on his tummy. He also for some reason loves being on the floor. Molly likes to hover over him, and he loves that too. He hasn't rolled over again since last week. He can however get up really high on his hands and sometimes he gets up on his knees too. He almost looks like he's ready to crawl. Then he'll keep Molly entertained for hours. He has always been really easy to put to sleep. He likes to be laid down and left alone. He's changing his schedule and is starting to be awake more during the day. He's been taking little 20 min cat naps. Which really don't work. So now the key is getting him to stay asleep. And if he wanted to stay asleep all night, I'd be ok with that too.

Rain rain...
At least it didn't rain yesterday. One of the families at church invited everyone over. It was a bring your own meat and side to share BBQ. We had a good time. I'm trying to be a little more outgoing when it comes to meeting people. There are a lot of young families in our ward, lots of potential friends :)
